I find the Loreal products to be very good but expensive for my whole family to use. I have very short hair so I don't need much. I found that even with short hair tho, I need to use a good conditioner or my scalp dries out.
My daughter has excess flaking in her hair too and is also starting some peeling on her hands. She has long hair so she uses more shampoo - but fortunately, she found that using the T-Gel and varying that with other medicated shampoos works for her. The one thing she found tho that works the best was using a 3 to 1 mixture of Vinegar in her final rinse after the conditioner. She says she smells like a salad for a few hours, but it really reduced the itchiness and flaking.

It is not too expensive and they used to sell this shampoo and conditioner at the local IGA - Maybe give this one a go, it is currently working okay for me. Fiona (Strop)
