Dermalight?

Postby Danielle » Tue Sep 05, 2006 2:21 am

Hiya, Just been reading about a Dermalight80? in one of the topics..
What is this exactly, is it like the UVB machine that you can use at the hospital?

I have been on a course of that at the hospital but they said you can only do a few courses in your lifetime.. So is this dermalight machine any different? Is there not increased chance of skin cancer etc..

Thanks Danielle x

Hi Danielle and welcome,

We have a range of Dermalights from small hand held units to larger full body length and fully enclosed systems. The Dermalight80 is the smallest and most popular. It depends what type of treatment you are or have received at hospital, there are different types of phototherapy, but the most popular is NB-UVB which is standard in the Dermalights, you can optionally have UVB or UVA at no extra cost. You can order them from us online via our store at the link at the top of this page.
