Natural treatments

Postby lil'froggie » Wed Jul 19, 2006 9:27 am

For the last month I have stopped using all dermatologist prescribed creams and have been using a natural cream called Hope's Relief cream. It's not a dramatic improvement but slow and steady, it is really making a difference! I know that what works for one person often does'nt for another but I thought some may be interested. Has anyone else tried this cream or other natural topical tretments?

Hello Lil'froggie,

I am unaware of this product, can you give us a run down on the ingredients? it would be intersting to know what it contains, for example is it just a moisturiser or does it have an active ingredient?

Hi Nick, sorry, every time I've logged on recently I haven't had the list of ingredients on hand! Anyway, it's called Hope's relief cream, and it contains: calendula, licorice root, gotu kola leaf,(all 20mg) manuka honey, aloe vera (both 100mg), sulphur, and something called rhus tox and graphites (?)(3mg each). As I said, I know the same thing doesn't work for everyone, but this has made a huge difference to me, which is a good thing, as I've just found out I'm pregnant (yay!) and can't use medicated creams anyway! I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has had any success with natural creams.

Yes, I'm still finding it successful, it hasn't completely cleared my skin, but I only have three small areas on my lower legs and the outer edges of both feet, and these areas are not red or scaly! I can live with that!!
