Hi there,

The general concensus is that 15mins every 2 days is adequate. I am aware of people who are treating at 30 mins every 2 days, or 15 minutes every day and even 30 mins every day. But doing this is outside of our recommended dosages, only because long terms results of these exposures has not been well documented with the Aculas laser. But, given that some hair restoration clinics do 45-60 min sessions several times a week, I do not think longer sessions would be unsafe, but you may want to monitor your progress closely.

Hi,

Laser therapy is a treatment, it is ongoing. Results some times take 6-10 months. Saying that, if an area is completely bald without any full hair folicles, then no amount of laser energy can help you. Laser can only assist to stimilate a hair folicle, it can not create one if they are no longer present. We have a section of our web page that details the statistics involved. You need to have some hair present in order to see results from LLLT and visible results often take some time to achieve.
