I am having really good results from using Diprosone. I see an improvement every day.
I know it will be slow and after using many creams/ointments over the last 12 months. I feel that the Diprosone is clearing my dermatitis after only 2 weeks of using it.

regards Dors :D

Hello,

there is little doubt that diprisone and other topical steroids have fast and immediate results. But unfortunately your body gets used to them and over time you need larger doses and stronger mixtures. Steroids are also responsible for thinning of the skin where they are used regularly and some of the steroids are absorbed through your skin. So long term use it typically discouraged these days. But there is little doubt that the immediate results (and relief) bring comfort to many people, but often doctors do no describe the side effects of using steroids. We have a lot about these products on our web page including various FDA warnings and regulations regarding the use of disprisone in particular.

I still personally occasionally will use a topical steroid if I need immedate results or an unusual flare up occurs.
