Dear everyone,

I had a question about narrow band UVB for vitiligo. How long does it take to see improvements and how many people are using this treatment for vitiligo? There seem to be so many people selling products it is difficult to know which to buy?

Mary.

G'day Mary.

Vitiligo is the most difficult condition to treat, but saying that, Narrow Band phototherapy is now the treatment of choice for Vitiligo in most parts of the world. Typically after 30-50 session you should see signifigant improvement. Most patients report around 50-100% clearning after this number of sessions. Obviously home phototherapy is extremely convenient and cost effective given the number of treatments and ongoing nature of phototherapy treatment.

I would like to know where can I get the replacement bulbs for Dermalight 80. I had used it for past 3 years and I believe the bulbs is expired. Hopefully you can help me to find the bulbs and send it to me. I will pay you for the bulbs inclusive of transportation fees.
TQ

I've been using NB UVB for about a year and am very happy with the results. I had tried many things b4 that didn't work for me, but each case is different. It was about 3 months b4 I saw any result, but I kept at it.
