Hello there
While I was surfing i came accross some other vitiligo forum mentioning about focal/segmental vitiligo and its treatment with NBUVB. Is it true that focal/segmental vitiligo has slim chances of any repigmentation with NBUVB?
Thanks in advance

Hi,

Many people use phototherapy explicitly for vitiligo on their faces. Vitiligo around the eyes and mouth is relatively common. You can not treat the eye lids with NB-UVB as the skin there is too thin. But any area that has pigmentation around that white patches has a very good chance of recovering with treatment. NB-UVB promote the normal skin around the white areas to share their pigmentation essentially.
