Hello, I have discovered psoriasis about 10 years ago and I have been trying different products and methods ever since. Last week, I'd purchased a book, "Healing Psoriasis" by Dr. John O.A. SPAMER LINK REMOVED. Has anybody read the book and followed the recommendations? I am planning to give this a shot. By avoiding some of the foods in the book, I am able to control the itchings.

Hello Tony,

Yes, books and diets can have some minor affects for some people. In some cases, very good results. But so does many treatment for psoriasis unfortuantely. What works for some people may not work for anybody else. It has been proven time and time again by reputable foundations and medical trials that diet or what you eat, has little or no impact on the wider community. As different things cause skin problems in different people, different treatments and trial and error are generally the approach adopted by dermatologists to treat chronic skin conditions such as psoriasis.

hi tune68. seems like lots of people are talking about diets. have you progressed far into yours and if you don't mind, can you share the general drift with me? I don't fancy paying for anything else to help with my psoriasis, but if there is something particularly special about this book I'd consider it. does it tell you step-by-step what to eat?
