Hello everyone, I am a 29 year old female dealing with p for about 12 years. I have spent most of my treatment time dealing with methotrexate on and off and would like to try uvb as an option. I am looking forward to reading posts and sharing stories with you all.

Hi, Im new here too!
I'm 24 and have had P for 18 years now. My brother has also recently broken out from head to toe with P wich has been really terrible as he's 19. I think it has been easier for me to deal with having P as i have grown up with it.
I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's tips :D

Hiya, I'm new aswell... Glad i've found this site, i'm already well on my way with the cherry thing.. hopefully i'll see an improvement in my skin haha..

I'm 20 and i've had psoriasis on and off since i was about 13- 14..
I think life would be so much easier without it, especially at this age but ah well.. Theres always somebody worse off i guess ha..

Anyways.. Look forward to speaking to you all.. Danielle x

Another newbie :)

Hi there, I am from NZ and have just been diagnosed with P - its apparently a hereditery thing (sister has it still, and my daughter had a flare up when she was about 10 - but nothing since thank god!) Have not had it before and just came out about a fortnight ago (I am 39) with inverse P and lots of red dotty things (very scientific lol)

Would be interested any ideas anyone to stop the itching, I am reluctant to put anyting steriody on them, and am really interested in this theory that it way be food related, I have ordered some bee pollen tablets and some apis mellifera (bee cream supposed wonder cream) so will let you all know how that works :)

Hi, I have not seen or tested bee products, but often bee product, honey, royal jelly can cause adverse reactions, hives and allergic reactions, particularly in children. Natural honey products often have spores which are usually filterd out in processed honey products. I know of at least several people who have been hospitalised after using "honey" or "bee" based natural creams over the years. Honey is not typically given to infants below 12 months for very good reasons I suppose.

But, if you try something, please let me know how you go.
