Controlling Psoriasis with Ayurveda

Psoriasis is a severe condition affecting the skin characterised with reddening and inflammation of the skin. The common symptoms of the disease include the appearance of red scaly patches on the skin accompanied with itching. It can affect any area including the scalp, palms of the hand, soles of the feet, skin on the elbows and the knees. The acute condition is difficult to treat, many physicians identify Psoriasis in the early stages with its evident symptoms and treat it. The chronic recurring condition varies in severity from minor patches to complete body coverage. There is also a condition that leads to the inflammation of the joints known as Psoriatic Arthritis.
